The expelled oil contains impurities and small solid particles. The oil is collected and then pumped into the filter press. Inside the filter press, the oil passes through a series of filter plates that contain filter cloths. Pressure is applied, forcing the remaining solid particles to be retained by the filter cloths, while the filtered oil passes through. The filtered oil is collected and can be further processed or stored, while the solid residue on the filter cloths is removed and disposed of. By using both an oil expeller and a filter press, it is possible to extract oil from raw materials efficiently and obtain a clean, filtered oil product. This process is commonly used in the production of various vegetable oils, such as soybean oil, sunflower oil, and palm oil.
